How it all began

Jon and Hannah’s relationship is an answered prayer and a testament to Christ’s faithfulness. The seed was initially planted when Jon’s Aunt Nene told Jon she had “the perfect girl” for him— but wouldn’t share who!
At the same time, she told Hannah about how great she and Jon would be together— Hannah wasn’t interested (oops).
That summer, Hannah’s best friend/Jon’s cousin, Elle, invited Hannah to her sister Halle’s wedding, where the two love birds would inevitably meet.
After talking at the rehearsal dinner, Jon knew Hannah was the “perfect girl” his Aunt told him about. The next day Hannah found Jon at the church and asked to sit together, (of course, Jon had to clear this with his mom first— stranger danger!). bam! *sparks*
Hannah & Jon got to know each other more at the reception throughout the wedding weekend, and slowly began to notice something special about each other. Despite being 1,000 miles apart (literally) they knew July 8th wasn’t the last time they would see each other.
That weekend stayed in their mind for months to follow— their relationship was in God’s hands and was dependent on His perfect timing. Separately they prayed for each other, strengthened their relationship with Jesus, and continually abided in Him.
In November of 2022, their prayers were finally answered. Their story officially began at The Tavern in State College. Pursuing each other from Chicago & State College proved difficult, but they were intentional in how they loved each other and found security with their first love— Christ.
And the rest is history
